In my last post, I discussed looping. I referenced checking the condition to see whether your code should keep looping or not. This is usually done with a counter (i).
for (var i = 0; i < 3; i++;) { performSomeAction(); }
Look closely at the i++ piece. ‘++’ is a shortcut for incrementing. Every time the loop runs one (1) gets added to the value of ‘i’. So ‘i’ starts at zero (0), then goes to one (1), then two (2), etc. This will alter the condition and help control how often the loop runs.
FYI, you can also decrement using ‘–‘.
